Together these artworks tell a profound story about Priya’s roots and how she grew from humble beginnings to becoming one of India's most renowned actresses. Her Cryptograph is supporting the Vatsalya Trust in Mumbai which cares for the city’s most vulnerable members of society.
Priya Bapat is an Indian actress and model who works in Hindi and Marathi films. She is perhaps best known for her roles in the movies Kaksparsh and Aamhi Doghi, for which she won the Best Actress award at the Screen Awards in 2013, and also for Happy Journey which she won the Best Actress Maharashtra State Award for. More recently she has been playing the leading role of Poornima Gaikwad in Disney + Hotstar’s hit TV show City Of Dreams. Priya also has her own fashion venture called Sawenchi, which she runs with her elder sister and costume designer Shweta Bapat.
